About Peter Tilgner

Peter’s work as a photographer began during his thirty seven year career as a middle school art educator where he developed a curriculum in photography, all-be-it film and darkroom processing. Since retiring, digital photography and processing have been the main stay of his creative endeavors.

For the past twenty plus years Peter’s work has been shown at the New Jersey Arts Annual “New Media, New Forms”, Montclair, NJ Art Museum, New York Center For Photography, NYC, Monmouth Museum, Monmouth, NJ, Mpls Photo Center, Minneapolis, MN, Aljira, and City Without Walls Galleries, Newark, NJ, New Orleans Photo Alliance, New Orleans, LA, Barrett Art Center, Poughkeepsie, NY, Garrison Art Center, Garrison, NY. Peter has curated two photo exhibitions for the City Without Walls Gallery, Newark, NJ., and “Cuba Today, Through The Eyes Of Eleven Photographers” for the Monmouth Museum, Lincroft, NJ., and LCJ Gallery, Rutgers Center for Law & Justice, Newark, NJ.
